NYTimes: A Review of ‘The Itinerant Languages of Photography’ at Princeton University

At a glance, “The Itinerant Languages of Photography” at the Princeton University Art Museum looks like a handsome, if compact, survey of photography from the Spanish and Portuguese diaspora. There are 19th-century Brazilian photographs and modernist classics like Tina Modotti’s Mexican “Workers’ Parade” (1926); masterpieces of Spanish street photography; and works by contemporary artists like Graciela Iturbide and Joan Fontcuberta.

Torre de Letras celebra

La Torre de Letras les invita el próximo lunes 6 de enero, a las 3 de la tarde, a la celebración por los XIII años de nuestra institución, con un concierto del poeta Hank Lazer y el músico Andrew Dale Dewar, junto con la presentación de los libros New York no eres tú de Armando Suárez Cobián, publicado por la Torre de Letras, y Una vida magenta de Rito Ramón Aroche, publicado por la editorial Letras Cubanas. Esta actividad tendrá lugar en el Centro Alejo Carpentier.
