El viernes 22 de julio, a las 7:00 pm., se inaugura en Fucina des Artistas
la exposición Hábitat, de Nestor Siré, que cuenta con la colaboración de
Chuli Herrera, Mauricio Vega, Daniel Bejerano y Yudivián Almeida. La
muestra, curada por Yainet Rodríguez, se extenderá hasta el 19 de agosto.
Se trata de un proyecto de marcado carácter sociológico que reflexiona sobre
la asociación entre lo espacial y lo social, partiendo del impacto de las
formas de producción no estatal, las regulaciones jurídicas y prácticas
sociales que reformulan el espacio urbano. El mismo se articula alrededor de
dos conceptos fundamentales: el de hábitat, que le da título, y el de
sociología urbana. Hábitat toma el pulso a fenómenos que han adquirido auge
con la legalización de las operaciones de compraventa de viviendas (2011) y
del trabajo por cuenta propia (2013), al mismo tiempo, se enfoca en
prácticas cotidianas matizadas por un componente espiritual, afectivo y
experiencial que se dan puertas adentro de nuestras casas.

MUD Open Studio 1.0: #SoftHead features works from current projects
like ArtSupply, Malla-Net and Pilgram 1.0. These works are part of a
long-term exploration that began in Cuba in 2007, with pieces of game
art and software in general.
My previous work from the Softhead series was made in Cuba, offline.
Reaching the internet in 2011 has had an impact on my work, generating
these pieces which I consider tools to manage the colors from social
media palettes, as is the case of, Artsupply. Malla-Net manages
Virtual Reality immersion on the browser and Pilgram collects data
creating datavis and automated content streaming.
These featured pieces will merge in specifics works, intervening the
internet as a public space and analyzing the practices of control
throughout internet, with a ludic approach.

Artista X Artista se complace en invitarles al concierto de música de
cámara que tendrá lugar el próximo sábado en la Basílica Menor del
Convento de San Francisco de Asís. Más de una década de colaboración
bajo distintos formatos, incluyendo la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de
Cuba, así como presentaciones en diferentes escenarios, avalan la
trayectoria de los cuatro intérpretes a cargo de esta propuesta, que
cuenta con el apoyo de Artista X Artista y el auspicio de la Oficina
del Historiador de la Ciudad de La Habana.
Esta cita en el ambiente acústico de la basílica barroca, será la
primera oportunidad en Cuba para escuchar el Quatuor pour le Fin du
Temps del compositor francés Olivier Messiaen.
Artista X Artista is pleased to invite you to the chamber music
concert that will take place in the Basilica Menor del Convento de San
Francisco de Asis next Saturday. More than a decade of collaboration
under different formats, including the National Symphonic Orchestra of
Cuba, as well as shows in different locations of the city, give these
musicians the background to face this proposal, supported by Artista X
Artista and the Historian Office of the City of Havana.
This date under the architecture of the baroque basilica, will be the
first opportunity to listen to the Quartet for the End of Time by the
french composer Olivier Messiaen.
