FIART 2010

For its second edition, the producers of the International Art Fair
of Santo Domingo bet on the 2010 version as an event that will beat
all expectations created from the precedent left in 2009.

Fiart 2010 pays tribute to Venezuelan master of kinetic art, Carlos
Cruz-Diez and the Dominican master, Guillo Perez.

Critically acclaimed for its great organization and layout at the
National Gallery of Fine Arts, Fiart establishes itself as the main
offer of visual arts in the region, for visitors, collectors, gallery
owners and artists.

Among the special exhibitions will be “Expressions Island,” a group
show with the new generation of Haitian and Dominican artists that
seeks to provide a platform for visual arts in the neighboring
country: Haiti. It will also have a space dedicated to video art and
a large program of talks and workshops
